There are several requirements to become an Amazon Worker.

  • Have a high school certificate or an equal diploma,
  • Be fit and healthy,
  • Able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Be able to lift 40+ pounds (22kg)
  • Speak and understand basic English.

Wages & Salary & Earnings / Amazon

UPDATED: Due to inflation, like every company, Amazon has updated its average hourly wages. Based on Glassdoor’s public information, Amazon’s hourly rates starting an average of $21 per hour for all full-time, part-time, and seasonal contractors and other contractors. There might be a start-up bonus of up to $1000 in some regions (not available in all areas). Additional pay may include different types of bonuses, stock options, tips, etc… Most notably, Amazon pays weekly. You will receive your payments via direct deposit or pay card.

Working Hours / Amazon Warehouse

You can be hired full-time, part-time, or seasonally. This can completely change depending on what the job is and its necessity. You may be able to work overtime at times. Shift options include nights and days and usually at least one weekend day. Finally, you may also have more flexible working hours depending on the offered job.
